What Ride or Die means to us:
Just over a year ago three best friends, Sharai, Jordyn and Sammy, were sitting around discussing how fleeting life is and how crucial it is to constantly be surrounded by the people who matter most. All too often we take those we care about for granted, forgetting that without the ceaseless laughs and support we would be so much worse off. From this, their tattoo design, and the saying “Ride or Die”, have come to symbolize their unconditional love for one another. Their tattoo, which is often mistaken for two upside-down triangles, actually consists of three triangles, representing each one of them: three distinct personalities intertwined to make a beautiful unique design. Ride or Die, meaning ride the wave or die trying, is simply about the never-ending support they provide for each other, regardless of how life plays out.
With these themes in mind, Sharai and Jordyn developed rideordie.ca. Not only is this a blog following two best friends and their passion for fashion, it is about the versatility of style, and the idea that fashion has a way of allowing us to express who we truly are. Although Sammy lives far away and is not around very often, she will make appearances every now and then, as she is an integral part of all that is Ride or Die. The blog was also developed with the intention of showcasing the girls’ friendship and the journeys that they share, making her a very important piece of the rideordie.ca puzzle.
The Ride or Die blog is a place where three friends are able to share with you their love for all things beautiful: clothes, shoes and life long friendships.
